Sgt. Robbie Williams to head the Community Affairs Unit, which includes Crime-Free Multi-Housing and C.H.A.T.
Sgt. Williams is a 15 year veteran with the Hawthorne Police Department, of which 5 have been served as Sergeant.
His vision for the Community Affairs Unit is best described as a bridge builder between the public and its police services.
Drawing from the philosophies of Community Based Policing, the Community Affairs Unit promotes and fosters educational and informative relationship with the community.

C.H.A.T. Community Assistance and Referrals
The Community Assistance and Referrals Team works in conjuction with the Philantropy Networking Team to provide Assistance and Referrals to individuals and families that may be going through financial, educational, work, or health situations.
